This tool enables you to keep the camshaft sprockets correctly aligned during installation of new cam belts. When you've got the timing marks lined up correctly, at least one of the cams will want to rotate out of position due to the closing spring (the vertical intake).

This tool can also be used to help remove the nut attaching the pulley to the camshaft. Simply install the tool with lobes on the camshaft with the nut to be removed. Use an appropriate spanner socket to remove the nut.

This tool will fit the 851, 888, 916 and 996 engines.

The tool body is made from Al6061 and is precisely machined to very close tolerances to fit between the cams.
